Amy Slettum,
communications director

Amy has been part of the IntrinXec team since 2005 and currently serves as the publications manager/editor of Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association’s (MPMA) award-winning magazine Precision Manufacturing. She coordinates and manages articles and writers, edits and works with a committee of 13 people to put Precision Manufacturing in full production. In 2009, Amy expanded Precision Manufacturing through on enhanced, online digital version. Additionally, Amy coordinates and edits MPMA’s monthly newsletter, The Scratchpad and provides other editing support to client communications.

Prior to joining IntrinXec, Amy was employed with the Greater Twin Cities United Way for over 5 years in the marketing department. She was instrumental in several capacities, including public relations, market segmentation, event and volunteer management.

Amy is a member of Minnesota Magazine and Publishers Association (MMPA) and Association Media and Publishing. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Metropolitan State University.

In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. She also enjoys reading, knitting and online scrapbooking. Amy also enjoys volunteering her time and is on the PTO Board for her son’s school.
