Kim Pastor,
director of education

Kim joined IntinXec in June 2011 as the Director of Education for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) – MN Chapter. She will work closely with the Board and committees to support the strategic goals for the chapter. As a member of NAPO for 10 years, Kim’s appreciation for the support an association management company provides a not- for -profit organization grew immensely. She knew that the strategic efforts of the organization would not have been reachable without either burning out the volunteers or outsourcing necessary support functions in order to bring things like a new website into reality. She also attended several national conferences and enjoyed participating in a well organized event (imagine the pressure of creating an event for Professional Organizers)! She also served on the NAPO Minnesota board of directors as their Program Director, President and Past President which gives her lots of experience of rolling up her sleeves and doing everything when you don’t have the support of an association management company. With so much experience working in an association it’s easy to see why she has such a heart to support her group’s efforts.

She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Blackburn College. While attending Blackburn she was awarded the Kemper Foundation Scholarship which provided summer employment experience in marketing in the Menlo Park, CA; Los Angeles, CA and Long Grove, IL offices. She also did a semester study abroad in Mexico City, Mexico. Prior to joining IntrinXec, Kim worked as a Productivity Consultant with her own company, B Organized LLC. The client projects were focused on increasing daily productivity in homes and work environments, always focused on achieving sustainable processes while repurposing and recycling as much as possible.

Kim enjoys the great outdoors in MN by bike riding and swimming in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. There are so many wonderful parks and trails to enjoy! When she’s not out and about she enjoys gardening, reading a good book, spending time with family and friends and volunteering in the community. One of her top goals is to take a trip to New Zealand with her husband (hopefully next year).
