Sean R. Schuette, CMP,
director of meetings and events

Sean coordinates the details and processes necessary for successful conferences, annual programs, monthly meetings and other special events for all of IntrinXec’s clients. Sean brings more than 12 years of experience in planning trade shows, conferences and events, some with attendance as high as 15,000 people. Sean is committed to ongoing involvement and professional development within the meeting industry. He has been involved with the Minnesota Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 2001, serving five years on the Education Committee and five years on the planning team for the Chapter's all-day education event, KnowledgeQuest. He served on the Board of Directors as the Director and VP of Finance from May 2008 – May 2010.

Sean earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential in September 2008 through the Convention Industry Council. In 2006 Sean was named “Planner of the Year” by the Minnesota Chapter of Meetings Professionals International and has been quoted in several local and national level trade publications as an expert in the meetings industry. Prior to joining IntrinXec in 2006, Sean was the conference coordinator for Cygnus Expositions. He graduated with a degree in technical theater and a minor in communications from Luther College in 1994. Sean was interviewed and highlighted in a six-page article in Midwest Meetings magazine. Sean’s favorite vacation spots are Disneyland and Disneyworld, and he’d love to visit Australia. On the weekend he enjoys volunteering on the technical team at his church. He also enjoys music, theatre, and working out.
